Importing your CV
For: Candidates & individuals
- 01Go to Profile → Import from CV and upload a PDF, Word (.docx) or text file.
- 02Review what was found; choose what to add, edit anything, and resolve differences with your profile.
- 03Confirm. The extracted text is erased afterwards.
Contact details, family and address lines are never taken from a CV. CV details are claims, not measured capability.
Who reads it
GyaniX's own rules, on GyaniX's server: they find the skills, tools, roles and education your CV lists. No AI service reads your CV today. After you confirm, Recommended for you shows the published assessments that cover those skills, with the reason for each.
Scanned CVs and photos
Scans and photos (PDF, PNG, JPG) are read with text recognition (OCR) where GyaniX has switched it on. The review screen shows how confidently the text was read, and nothing is ticked for you — you choose each item after checking it. If OCR is not switched on, upload a Word or text version or paste the text.
