Terms of Use

These terms govern your use of GyaniX, an assessment and capability-intelligence platform operated by Xelium Labs Private Limited (“we”, “us”). By creating an account you agree to them.

1. Your account

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account yourself. Assessments for people under 18 require a parent or guardian and are not yet available for self-service purchase.
• Give accurate information and keep your password secure. You are responsible for activity on your account.
• Your GyaniX ID is permanent and personal. You may not share or transfer your account.

2. Taking assessments

• Complete assessments yourself, without help from other people, tools or materials that the assessment does not allow.
• Proctored assessments use your camera, microphone and browser activity as described before each assessment and in our Privacy Notice. You will be asked for consent every time.
• Attempts that break the proctoring rules may be ended automatically and are reviewed by people. Results of such attempts may be marked or withheld.
• Do not copy, record, publish or share assessment questions.

3. Results and decisions

GyaniX provides intelligence about capability. It does not make hiring, admission or other consequential decisions — the people and organisations using GyaniX do. Benchmarks are shown only when enough comparable data exists.

4. Purchases, payments and refunds

• Commercial availability: GyaniX currently sells assessments and credits to buyers in India only. Prices are in Indian rupees (INR).
• Prices are shown before you pay, with any applicable taxes (such as GST) shown separately. Your receipt shows the payer’s name and e-mail, the amount, taxes and the payment reference. Payments are processed by our payment partner; we never see or store your full card details.
• A purchased assessment must be started within the period shown at purchase.
• If you have not started a paid assessment, you may ask for a refund by contacting us. Once an assessment has been started it cannot be refunded, except where the law requires or a technical fault on our side prevented you from completing it.
• Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method or, for bank or UPI payments, to the account they came from. If a payment is taken twice, the duplicate is refunded in full.
• Assessments labelled “AI-generated and AI-reviewed — not independently expert-validated” are for learning and self-assessment only; they are not a hiring, academic or professional qualification. You can report a question or appeal a score from your report within 30 days.

4A. Prepaid credits for organisations and partners

Organisations and partners buy assessment credits in advance. These credit terms apply to credit purchases from 31 October 2026 and are also shown at checkout before each purchase. Purchases made before 31 October 2026 remain under the terms shown at their checkout. An organisation or partner administrator accepts this version of the Terms of Use at their next credit purchase.

• Credits become available only after payment is confirmed. Each purchase is a separate batch.
• Every batch expires 12 calendar months after the date it was activated. Your wallet shows each batch’s activation date, expiry date and remaining balance.
• When credits are used, the batch that expires soonest is used first.
• Inviting a candidate holds the assessment’s credits; they are used when the candidate starts. If the invitation is cancelled or never started, the credits return to their batch. Credits held for an issued assessment stay usable for it after their batch expires, but if they are returned after the expiry date they expire immediately.
• Moving credits between a partner and its customers keeps their original expiry date. Moving, refunding or returning credits never restarts or extends the 12 months.
• Expired credits cannot be used, transferred or refunded. We send reminders before a batch expires.
• A credit purchase can be refunded only while that purchase’s batch is completely unused: none of its credits used, held, moved or expired.

5. Acceptable use

Do not misuse GyaniX: no attempts to access other people’s data, disrupt the service, reverse-engineer assessments, create fake accounts or impersonate others.

6. Changes and termination

We may update these terms; we will ask you to accept material changes. You may close your account at any time. We may suspend accounts that break these terms.
