Written for: Anyone who has taken a GyaniX assessment, and anyone reading a report someone has shared with them.
Start with the overall result, then move on quickly
The overall result is the share of questions you answered correctly. It is a fair summary of one attempt, but the useful detail is underneath it: two people with the same overall result can have very different strengths.
Skill results, and the number behind each one
Each skill result shows how many questions it is based on. Give more weight to a skill measured with many questions than to one measured with a few: one lucky or unlucky answer moves a small sample a long way.
The report puts each skill into one of four groups, using fixed rules rather than AI:
- Strength: 70% or more, on at least 3 questions.
- Developing: between 50% and 70%.
- Development area: below 50%.
- Too few questions to judge: fewer than 3 questions, so no conclusion is drawn.
Full assessment reports also break results down by topic and by difficulty. A skill that is strong on easier questions and weak on harder ones usually means the basics are in place and the next step is applying them to less familiar situations.
The development plan
Every report ends with a short plan. It is built from your own answers with simple rules: work on the weakest skills first, cover the basics before harder material, and then measure again. It is a starting point for your own study, not a course.
How the assessment was run
The report states what was monitored during your attempt, if anything. On proctored assessments, any integrity flag is reviewed by a person before a conclusion is drawn; software never decides on its own.
The method and limitations section explains how the questions were written and reviewed. Published papers are AI-generated and AI-reviewed and have not been validated by an independent expert, so treat the result as evidence for learning and self-assessment.
Comparisons with other people
Percentiles and rankings appear only when enough comparable results exist. If your report shows none, that is why: GyaniX does not invent a comparison from too little data.
Certificates
- Certificate of Appreciation: for completing a Free Basic Assessment. It thanks you for taking part, shows no score and is not a proficiency certificate.
- Certificate of Completion: for finishing a full assessment.
- Certificate of Achievement: only when GyaniX set a passing standard for that assessment before you started and your attempt met it.
- Practice attempts receive no certificate.
Each certificate has a unique number, and certificates for full assessments have a QR code. Anyone with the number can check what the certificate states and whether it is still valid; your e-mail, phone number, scores and answers are never shown.
If you think something is wrong
You can report a question or appeal your score from the report, within 30 days. A person at GyaniX decides and explains the decision. If a question is found to be faulty it is withdrawn and the correction is listed publicly.
Sharing your report
Your report is private. You can share it through a verification link when it helps you, and withdraw the link later. Results of an assessment an organisation assigned you are also visible to that organisation, as its invitation explained.
